Pure Luxury by Georg Jensen

Pure Luxury by Georg Jensen

Here at Homecolours we love to see how well a touch of luxury can add style and distinction to any home. By making good use of beautifully created home items, any home could benefit beautifully from elegantly made productions.

Georg Jensen is a label that offers timeless pieces of fantastic grandeur and class. Often making excellent use of art deco styles from last century, the designs are formulated to bring in elements of glamour working alongside pragmaticism for valuable additions to the home.

The above Champagne bowl by Georg Jensen could very well be the focal point of any dinner party or celebration. Produced in glorious mirror polished stainless steel, the bowl benefits from a fascinating look and design.

Taking inspiration from the high glamour of the 1920s, the bowl can hold up to 6 bottles in comfort. The decorative design is sure to offer a memorable touch to any social occasion at home.

Another highly decorative bowl from Georg Jensen is the Bloom Bowl. Bringing a fantastically finished one of a kind style to the home, the bowl was inspired by the beautiful shapes of cherry blossoms.

The bowl was designed by Helle Damkjær and uses an organic form to bring to mind the energy of plant life. The delicately crafted bowl is ideal for bringing a marvellous look to any room in the home. Bringing a wealth of silhouette shapes into the home as the light hits it, the bowl is a lovely ideal for a stylish and useful addition.

Another classic look from Georg Jensen is offered with the fantastic Bernadotte Floor Candleholder. Featuring elegantly made grooves running from top to bottom, the candleholder provides a striking showcase of elegant and flowing form.

The candleholder is brilliantly crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel and is sure to add another dimension of luxury to a living space.

Another item from the Bernadotte series – inspired by the Royal highlights of the 1930’s in Sweden – is the above Bernadotte Serving Platter. Taking its name from the Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte, the platter of white porcelain adds fantastic style and beauty to the dining table.

Perfect for carrying food items from kitchen to the table, the oval design featuring ridge style detailing is sure to make an impression at meals and social gatherings. Also ideal for tapas, canapes and snacks for after meal drinks, the platter is another example of the luxury of Georg Jensen.
