The Exciting Style and Elegance of FatFace

The Exciting Style and Elegance of FatFace

FatFace is a well known brand in homeware and fashion, but where did it get that instantly distinctive name? The answer takes us back to the late 1980s, when the two founders were exploring the French Alps looking for business ideas while enjoying the ski slopes. You see, the 'fat face' of the company's name refers to the steep slopes located on the 'La Face; black mountain run in the Val d’Isère.

The pair began to sell T-shirts and tops from out of their campervan in order to fund their active, skiing lifestyle. Over 25 years later, the same sense of fun and adventure still necessarily informs the brand's blend of elegance and excitement.

Since branching out into different areas of homeware and bedding, FatFace is a brand constantly changing and evolving. Here at Homecolours we're big fans of the brand, and always enjoy seeing what they've been up to with new design in bedding sets and cushion covers.

A lovely introduction to the label's affinity for beautiful elegant patterns is offered with the new release of the Harvest Floral Duvet Set. Available in single, double, king and super king, the sets offer gorgeously illustrated pillow cases alongside the luscious duvet cover. The 100% cotton percale make up of the collections brings about a wonderful softness of texture, allowing for a comfortable and perfectly relaxed sleep or rest. With a reversible design on the duvet cover, the set is brilliantly adaptable to your taste. A great addition to any bedroom.

The Oriental Crane & Palm Duvet Set is another of FatFace's captivating creations. Inspired by the ocean mist and tropical plant life, the tranquil design recall the designers's own hand-made prints. Restful blues and greens are perfect for lulling you into a dreamy sleep. Excellent quality breathable cotton offers a fantastically soft space to get the best night's sleep in.

FatFace can also provide another excellent way to relax with the Sai Throw. The classic navy and white pattern and beautiful stitch-work offers a lovely means of bringing a contemporary update to any room in the home. It could be hung from a window-space, lain flat on the floor or placed across an armchair.

With dimensions of 130 x 170 cm, the generously proportioned throw is big enough to wrap around, leaving you warm and comfortable. Perfect for chilling out on the sofa or as an extra source of cushioning on a seat or chair, the throw is a versatile product that shows off the practicality underlying FatFace's trademark cool.
